Three testers liked the Super Q. Tom's Guide gave it 4.5 stars: "a well-built and powerful blender with 12 speed settings and quiet operation." TechRadar also gave it 4.5 but found "It isn’t designed for very small quantities." America's Test Kitchen rated it Recommended: "This exceptionally quiet blender helped blend soft and hard ingredients quickly," though the lid was often hard to remove. ATK's Best Midpriced Blender, the Breville Fresh & Furious, scored higher for ease of use and almond butter and got 4.5 stars from TechRadar too, which found it "can cope well with small quantities." The Ninja Professional Plus rated a little lower with both of its testers but costs a fraction as much. Splurge if you blend big batches and want a quiet machine; save if you blend smaller amounts.

TechRadar gave it 4.5 stars, the same as the Super Q: "This blender aced every task we gave it." Its jar is smaller (50 vs 68 oz), its base is plastic rather than stainless steel, and its warranty is 3 years against the Super Q's 7.

America's Test Kitchen's Best Less Expensive Blender made "perfect mayo and crushed ice" and smoothies "just a touch more frothy and fibrous than those made by our top choices," but struggled with almond butter. Tom's Guide gave it 4 stars against the Super Q's 4.5: "Despite its stealthy name, the Ninja Professional Plus Blender can be painfully loud."
