America's Test Kitchen rates the Propel 750 Highly Recommended: it can "whip up a silky smoothie quickly" and makes velvety mayonnaise. But "It was able to grind almonds into fine butter, but it took us 10 minutes," and "Its powerful motor also made it louder than our top choice." ATK's Best Midpriced blender, the Breville Fresh & Furious, matched or beat it on five of six tests and costs a fraction as much.
