America's Test Kitchen's Best Less Expensive Blender made "perfect mayo and crushed ice" and smoothies "just a touch more frothy and fibrous than those made by our top choices," but struggled with almond butter. Tom's Guide gave it 4 stars against the Super Q's 4.5: "Despite its stealthy name, the Ninja Professional Plus Blender can be painfully loud."
