What the testers found
America's Test Kitchen's favorite hot plate–style slow cooker, and like the Staub it browns right in the pot. "We loved the lightweight, nonstick metal crock and stay-cool plastic handles," and it "cooked evenly in every test." It "tends to run a little hotter and cooks foods faster than traditional ceramic slow cookers. We suggest checking recipes early for doneness." 3-year warranty; the Staub listing doesn't state one.
