Why
America's Test Kitchen's winner, top-rated on every test: it "heats water quickly and to exactly the temperature we selected every time," it's durable, and it's "still lightweight and easy to store". "With no controls on the unit itself, you must rely on its app to program time and temperature," but "its app is one of the best we've used." ATK wasn't sold on turbo mode: it works only with a small set of Breville presets, and ATK has "never found speed to be a priority when cooking sous vide." ATK's Best Buy, the Yedi Infinity, cooked just as well for much less; its only real flaw is a top-facing display that's hard to read.
