What the testers found
TechGearLab's Best Overall kettle, one point ahead of the Stagg: "This fast boiling gooseneck kettle delivers good results across the board and excels in comfort and pouring performance." It boiled slightly faster and poured faster; the Stagg has more settings and design polish. Cons: "Expensive, basic looks, buttons can feel cheap." TechGearLab found a little plastic in contact with water (nubs on the lid); the Stagg had none. Its temperature range is listed differently by TechGearLab and Amazon, so check the listing if you brew below 140°F.
