Tom's Guide gave the X60 Max Ultra Complete 5 out of 5 and ranks it the best robot vacuum it has tested this year: it "managed to pick up everything I threw at it," and its mops cleared dried soy sauce, mayonnaise and mud without leaving a sticky film. Its side brush and mop pads extend into corners, it climbs small steps, and its dock empties, refills, washes and dries everything. The only con Tom's Guide lists is that "Some users may find the dock large." Tom's Guide also rated the Eufy Omni C28 4 stars; it has a self-emptying, mop-washing dock too and costs far less, but it has no extending arms and its navigation is less refined. The Roborock Q7 M5, also 4 stars, costs a fraction but only charges on its dock and drags a basic mop. Splurge if you have pets that shed a lot or want the most thorough edge and corner cleaning; save if you want a self-cleaning dock for far less.

Tom's Guide rated it 4 out of 5 (94% overall in its pickup tests) and T3 also gave it 4. Its dock empties the bin, washes and hot-air dries the roller mop and refills the water, though there's no detergent tank. Tom's Guide found mopping "generally great" and says "for the price, this is hard to beat," but it saw "Some erratic pathfinding," and without an extending brush or mop you'll do some top-up cleaning in corners. Its LiDAR turret also makes it taller than the X60, which is 3.13 inches.

Tom's Guide rated it 4 out of 5: "a great cleaner for the price," with "Deep carpet cleaning." What you give up is almost everything around the vacuuming. Its fixed pad drags a damp cloth ("Mop only good for light cleaning"), hair tangled in its roller, it "can sometimes miss debris in the corners of the room," and this version's dock only charges, so you empty the bin and refill the tank yourself.

Tom's Guide says so: it was "mostly impressed by how well it performed when picking up hair," and its anti-tangle brush never needed hair cleared off. By contrast, the reviewer's cheaper Dreame D10 Plus Gen 2 picked up only 40% of the hair from carpet.
