Tom's Guide and TechRadar both rated the Saros 10R 4.5 out of 5. Tom's Guide says "it does it all, and it does it all well": on carpet it picked up 95% of the Cheerios, 99% of the kitty litter and 98% of the pet hair, and did better still on hardwood. TechRadar calls it "the perfect hybrid robot vacuum for even the most cluttered of homes," with "Exceptional vacuum performance" and very quiet running. With no LiDAR turret it's 3.14 inches tall, so it reaches under furniture that blocks taller robots. Tom's Guide also rated the Eufy Omni C28 4 stars; it has a self-emptying, mop-washing dock too and costs less, but its turret makes it taller. The Roborock Q7 M5 got 4 stars from both outlets and costs a fraction, but its dock only charges. Splurge if your home is cluttered or has low furniture; save if you want a self-cleaning dock for less.

Tom's Guide rated it 4 out of 5, half a star below the Saros 10R, with 94% overall in its pickup tests, and T3 also gave it 4. Its dock empties the bin, washes and hot-air dries the roller mop and refills the water, though there's no detergent tank. Tom's Guide found mopping "generally great" but saw "Some erratic pathfinding," and its side brush doesn't extend, so corners need touch-ups. Its LiDAR turret makes it taller than the Saros 10R, so it fits under less furniture.

Tom's Guide and TechRadar each rated it 4 out of 5, half a star below the Saros 10R. It's a basic LiDAR robot with strong suction for the price: TechRadar called its carpet test "a super solid result." What you give up is the dock. This version only charges, so you empty the bin and refill the tank yourself, and its fixed pad just drags a damp cloth: Tom's Guide found the mop "only good for light cleaning" and TechRadar found mopping "quite wet." Hair wrapped around the roller for both. Its LiDAR puck makes it taller than the Saros 10R.

Is the Roborock Saros 10R quiet?
Very. TechRadar measured 55 dB from 10 feet and calls it "one of the quietest robot vacs in the business." Tom's Guide found the dock's mop drying "so quiet you'd only likely notice it if you were sitting next to the dock."
