Why
America's Test Kitchen rated the Pro Highly Recommended, and it's "very pleasant to use," with a heavy stainless-steel reamer and a lever "hinged in three places." But ATK's winner is Breville's cheaper plain Citrus Press, which rated higher for performance: the Pro "was a little slower and yielded a bit less juice than its less-expensive sibling. We like it, but we don't think the extra expense is necessary for most people." ATK's Best Buy, the Dash Dual, matched the winner for performance and yield at a small fraction of the price, just more slowly.

It was faster than the Pro and yielded more juice. The differences are the plastic reamer, a simpler lever and no silicone handle. ATK published no durability rating; both carry a 1-year warranty.

America's Test Kitchen's Best Buy. ATK tested the aqua version (JB065AQ); this is the same juicer in white. "This inexpensive and lightweight juicer did an excellent job juicing all sizes of citrus fruit." It "took a couple of minutes longer to juice lemons but it was easy to use and produced just as much juice." You press the fruit down by hand instead of pulling a lever, and its double strainer can clog with pulp. It weighs under 2 pounds and the listing doesn't state a warranty.
