America's Test Kitchen calls the Pro "a slight improvement over the company's original offering, particularly in the user interface," and it earned top marks for ease of use. But it rated just 1.5 of 3 for performance: in the roast chicken test "The chicken browned very quickly and produced a significant amount of splatter, resulting in smoke," and "Liquid dripped out the front onto the counter during cooking." Cleanup was hard too. ATK's verdict: Recommended with reservations. The Ninja Foodi XL Pro rated Highly Recommended, scored full marks for performance and costs less.

Roast chicken is where the Wonder Oven Pro struggled. Its footprint is a little bigger, and like every oven ATK tested, "it was a bit hard to clean." ATK didn't test long-term durability, and neither listing states a warranty.

Easier to use, not better at cooking. America's Test Kitchen calls it "a slight improvement over the company's original offering, particularly in the user interface" and rated it higher for ease of use (3 of 3 vs 2), but lower for performance (1.5 vs 2) and cleanup (1.5 vs 2). It's also much bigger: 30 qt vs 13 qt.
How does the Wonder Oven Pro make toast?
"The toast setting defaults to 400 degrees for 4 minutes and produces golden brown slices," America's Test Kitchen reports. For lighter or darker toast there are no shade settings; you adjust time and temperature and "keep a close eye on the bread."
