America's Test Kitchen rates the Smart Oven Pro Recommended: it "performed identically to the Smart Oven when broiling, baking, and roasting," and its slow-cook function made "tender, juicy pulled pork." But it "consistently underbrowned toast, even on the highest setting." ATK's winner, the plain Smart Oven, is the same size with the same interface, toasts properly, rated as well or better on every criterion, and costs less. Buy the Pro only if you want its slow-cook function and interior light.
