America's Test Kitchen's top air-fryer toaster oven "consistently made the best food in the bunch," with excellent toast and "air-fryer french fries and chicken Parmesan on par with recipes made in our favorite traditional air fryer." Like every model tested, "the oven can be a bit of a pain to clean." The Ninja Foodi XL Pro earned the same top stars for performance and ease of use and costs much less; its footprint is a little bigger and it lacks the Breville's slow-cook and proof settings.
