What the testers found
The testers split. TechGearLab ranked it first of 16 grinders, ahead of the Sette: "This grinder provides top-notch performance in every category except for the coarsest of grinds." America's Test Kitchen rated the Sette higher and found the Breville "was one of the easiest to operate, even for the coffee novice," but "didn't contain stray grounds as well as some others." Both note it grinds into a portafilter. It has 60 settings to the Sette's 270, so there is less room to fine-tune espresso; TechGearLab lists it as "Not ideal for coarser grinds."
